We had a blast at our Pinewood Derby. The boys were all excellent sports, the cars looked and ran fantastic, and everyone seemed to have a great time.
We had a clinic the Wednesday night before to make sure our cars were ready to go.
We officially checked in when we arrived on Saturday morning.
Then headed to the gathering activity to make posters to root for our favorite racer. There were even tracks and cars for our younger siblings to try out before and during the races.
We ate yummy doughnuts and fruit for breakfast and then the boys headed to the special Racers Only Section, while our families headed to the Cheering Section.
Brother Westbrooks had created a really cool computer program that helped us keep track of the scores.
When the day was over, Thomas took first place, John second, and Alex third.

Amazing Games
This month our Bears and Wolves are learning about Good Sportsmanship as they prepare for the Pinewood Derby. The Wolves made a game to play at home with their families.
The Bears each prepared a game to teach to the rest of their den and spent the evening playing each other's games.
